Answer #1

Empty seat phenomenon is where a person who is different among a group of people is ignored and the place next to them is always left empthy as the group do not want to mingle with this person. Hence the person will always have an empty seat next to them . This can often be seen in trains and buses where people noticing some person will not sit next to them even whent he train is full . This is known as empty seat phenomenon. In transportation industry this phenomenon will give rise to discrimination and can often lead to people stop using this system . It will be a great loss if people avoid using the system because fo discrimination .It takes a lot of time for people to adapt to his situations when such phenimenon can be observed in transportation systems.
