How does limiting reactant impact change in temperature?
A limiting reactant is one, on which the amount of product also depends or the limiting reactant is the reactant which is the first reactat which completely cosumed in a reaction.
for example: combustion of Methane gas is excess O2 gas
CH4+O2------> CO2+H2O
here the reaction would continue till the methane is there, so the limiting reactant is methane.
Also, we know that generally, as you increase the temperature, the rate of reaction also increases because the temperature would increase the collision of reactants and activates the reaction faster. The general statements with respect to the increase in temperature is that, As the tmperature increases by 10degree celcius, the rate of the reaction doubles. So, in a limiting reaction also, as the temperature increases the rate of a reaction would also increase and limiting reactant would also consumed fast and reaction completes faster.
