Answer #1

The cell process in which particles in the cytoplasm are wrapped in a membrane and actively transported across the cell surface to the outside of the cell is called exocytosis.

Exocytosis is defined as the cellular process in which the cell transports the secretory products from the cytoplasm across the cell surface to the outside of the cell by wrapping the particles followed by fusion of secretory vesicles with the plasma membrane and then transportation of those secretory particles outside the cell.
