How have prokaryotic cells produced aerobic eukaryotic cells and photosynthetic aerobic eukaryotic cells?

Answer #1

In the process of evolution the eukaryotic cells were evolved form prokaryotic cells. The endosymbiotic theory explains it. According to this theory, the prokaryotic cells were engulfed by another prokaryotic cells leading to the development of mitochondira and chloroplast in the cells, respectively responsible for respiration and photosynthesis in the cell. The resembelence of mitochondrial and chloroplast with prokaryotic cells also confirms it. these organs have their own genetic material and have 70s ribosomes which are characterstic of prokaryotic cells.
