Infections caused by zika virus:

The zika virus is spread through mosquito and the disease can be fatal. The symptoms include fever, chills, head ache, joint and muscle pains ,rashes etc. The joint pains can be very harsh almost to the point of being paralyzed. If the virus attacks during pregnancy it can lead to miscarriage or cause other fatal brain abnornalities like microcephaly. For the adults it can cause neurological disorders like Guillain Barre syndrome. Here your bodys immune system attacks nerve cells causing a tingling sensation and difficulty in movement. For males they will show all the above symptoms and should abstain from sexual contact as the virus can be spread through sexual contact.

The following quotation appeared in a Wall Street Journal article on the battle for market share in the automobile industry in 2000: “The huge fixed costs involved in developing new vehicles and running big auto factories means auto makers feel compelled to maintain-or expand-market share. Losing share long term could mean shutting down factories, or running factories at unprofitable rates.” Do these statements support economic theory and show that economies of scale do not benefit a firm if the output...

Was the US's actions in denying Mexican trucks access to US highways in 2009 warranted when it comes to saving transportation jobs? Explain. Also, should Canada seek to strengthen...

I recognize the above Atlantic article is now several years old but for many of us, the reality of the 'Great Recession' lingers on. Adjusted for inflation, the income of the top 1 percent rose 31 percent from 2009 to 2012, but the real income of the bottom 40 percent actually fell 6 percent. So...

The following Exercise is based on summary statistics rather than raw data. This information is typically all that is presented in published reports. You can calculate inference procedures by hand from the summaries. Use the conservative Option 2 (degrees of freedom the smaller of n 1 −1 n1−1 and n 2 −1 n2−1 for two-sample t confidence intervals and P-values. You must trust that the authors understood the conditions for inference and verified that they apply. This isn't always true.)...
