In this question considering the ethanol that is absorbed by the small intestine but nor metabolized by the small intestine. Apart from that glycerol and other alcohols are also absorbed in the small intestine. It is reportd that 20% alcohol absorbed by the stomach. In literature suggested that ethanol absorbed by the small intestine will absorb by the blood and travelled to liver by hepatic vein where alcohol dehydrogenase will oxidize and metabolize the alcohol in liver. Liver is the primary site if alcohol.In liver ethanol converted into acetaldehyde and further oxidizes into acetate and this will comes into the circulation.
