The case is central dogma which states the flow of genetic information it was stated by Francis crick in 1957 and statetthat once the information is transferred into protein it cannot get out. It simply means that once the DNA is transcribed or translated then protein again cannot make the DNA . In this it consist of two step process one (DNA ---- RNA) and second (RNA----- proteins) that is transcription and translation respectively. But in special cases this flow of information is slightly change in some retroviruses like HIV and in case of telomere and retro transposons in case of eukaryotes in which RNA function as a genetic material so for transcript a reverse transcription occurs by enzyme reverse transcriptase and forms a complementary DNA (cDNA) and then starts the normal flow of the information transcription and translation so sometimes it is also known as reverse central dogma.
