Ans- In prokaryotes rapid cell division leads to speciation because-

1. due to rapid cell division, the DNA replication occurs fastly, thats why it is more prone to error.

2. Also, there is no proof reading in prokaryotes.

These increase the chances of mutations, that can lead to generation of new species and hence, speciation.

Ans- The genetic code protects the integrity of protein due to its uniformity. In each organism, same genetic code codes for same amino acid. Hence, same protein can be synthesised in all organism using same genetic code sequence.
