C. rRNA-->mRNA-->proteins

D. mRNA-->tRNA-->proteins

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Option A. is correct.

As we know that DNA stores all the genetic infomation, it needs some messenger which will carry the information stored in DNA in coded form, so that the codes are translated into some functional product. mRNA is the messenger and proteins are the functional product.

So, in molecular Biology, the flow of information occurs from DNA to RNA which is called transcription and then the messages in the RNA are read to make specific proteins by a process called translation. This process of conversion of the instructions of DNA into functional product is called Central Dogma.

DNA --------------------------------> RNA ----------------------------------> Protein
