Herbivores species undergo niche partitioning primarily through food partitioning.
If the species are arboreal, then they partition at different levels of canopy,If they re terrestrial .
They can also partition by time whether diurnal, nocturnal , crepuscular etc.
They can also partition according to their dietary plans
Dietary overlap is seen greatest between individuals with similar body type and and proportional grass consumption, even the dietary physiology depends on composition of diet, their location and size of grazers (whether grazers or browsers)
