1: Newborns are more prone to bacterial infections.Bacterial infections may be contracted by mother during birth or after birth.There is a higher risk of infection in low weight neonates.We cannot assure that bacterias affecting infants won't affect adults.These are the same bacterias affecting both infants and adults.But our immune system adapts to all kind of bacterias over years of experience.
