Answer #1

The answer is "Water is oxidized in light-dependent reactions".

Because in a light dependent reaction when ,a photon of light hits the reaction centre they gets excited and emits an electron which is further passed on to chlorophyll A, for further process in photosynthesis. The "electron hole " in the reaction centre is filled by taking an electron from water (Photolysis) .As a result ,oxygen is released into atmosphere, so it is water is oxidized (losing of electrons) in photosynthesis / light dependent reactionS.
