In the course of millions of years of evolution animals have evolved various ways of defending themselves against predators.Some of the interesting methods of defence which involves deception are use of toxic chemicals, camouflage and mimicry. Let us discuss an example :

1-Dart Frogs secrete toxic chemicals as a defence against predators through skin.

2-Toads and several snakes protect itself from predators by making itself appear as past of it's natural surroundings.It is known as Camouflage.
