Advice for the prevention of bloodstains in the fabric is to immediately use cold water to rinse the blood away and to not let the blood dry what would be the reason to use cold water in terms of the protein structure, denaturation and etc.

blood contains 45% Red blood cells and these cells are highly specialized in carrying oxygen from lungs to all over tissues in the body. for these all organelles are removed and hemoglobin is present in the cells mainly. globin is a protein in complex with iron. when the protein is having natural structure in blood plasma and other it can complex with iron. but as soon as it get dry then it globin protein denature and looses it 3D complexing structure and releasing free iron and upon oxidation iron oxide is black brown colored insoluble stain.
