  1. Is it possible to find the same gene in different organisms but those organisms not both produce the protein (or the same protein)?

Answer #1

Answer) the answer of the above question will be yes and it is because of the following reason:

These type of protein are known as isoforms which has same gene but due to post transcriptional modification the sequence of Exon is change which is known as Alternative spilcing and this is the main cause of genetic diversity but not necessarily they are different they can also be same in function. For example one isoform can promote cell survival and other can cause cell death .

Some of the example will be easier to discuss :

1) G-actin almost 6 isoforms are present

2) monoamine oxidase has 2 isoforms

Basically different protein are mainly depend on the person mind setup .

Consider an imaginary group of organisms, and make up a scenario in which both gene flow and genetic drift occur. Make sure that both concepts are clearly defined, and completely and specifically illustrated in your answer. If using diagrams or graphs to help explain the situation, be sure they include informative labels that make what you are depicting easy to understand.
