Ans. Vermis is present in the midline of the cerebellum. It seprates the cerebellum into two cerebellar hemisphere.Cerebellum is the largest part of the hind brain. It is associated with the ability to amintain the upright posture of the body.

ISSUES CAUSED BY THE EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION;- Escessive alcohol can damage the part of brain and the will reduce the size of the brain.

They also responsible for the shrinkage of the size of the brain and hence lesions are formed in the cerebellum and vermis. It result in the lossing of the ability to walk in the straight line , putting items in order and problem solving. It also results in the problems with the working of memory.
