There are differnet approaches to the treatment of dementai.Dementia is a cognitive impairment of memory of the brain and it is the onset with the diminishing of brain cells .Dementia can be either at a young age or old age depending on the nature of the incident.Trauma or head injury can lead to dementia.Different stages of dementia range from mild,moderate to severe condition .The treatment has to done with medication as well as psychological support to the patient.Non medication therpaies are vey important in the care of dementia patients where they are assisted in coping mechanisms,providing an atmosphere of comfort,frequent access to doctors and support therapists.
