Answer #1

Answer :) No

The optic nerve is composed of the union of axons from the retinal ganglion cells. The auditory nerve is made of bipolar neurons and splits into two branches, the vestibular nerve, and the cochlear nerve. The vestibular nerve also carries signals for balance. The cochlear nerve is made of afferent axons. The vestibular nerve is made of the central processes of bipolar neurons.

Due to their different composition, it is difficult or impossible to perform the same function after the cut and switch the optic nerve and the auditory nerve. Therefore, the given stamen is not possible.
