Explain how the muscle acts differently when attached to a tendon compared to when it is in isolation.
Ans:- concept:- A tendon is a dense band of connective tissue which connects a muscle to a bone and transmits the force which the muscle exerts.
When muscle are attach to tendon then there is much effective and efficient utilisation of force created by muscle. Because tendon focus the force generated by muscle in a specific direction and over a very specific and short point . Due to which less force is required to do a work .
But when the muscles are isolated they are inserted over a long area due to which , force generated by muscle is not utilised properly and is desipitated over a long area . Leading to wastage of enegery .
