a.   The effect of secretin in the gastric secretion stimulates the pancreatic and biliary bicarbonate and water secretion. And also it may regulate pancreatic enzyme secretion. This Secretin also stimulates the gastric secretion of the pepsinogen and inhibits lower esophageal sphincter tone, postprandial gastric emptying, gastrin release, and gastric acid secretion.

b. The effect of secretin in pancrease is to stimulate duct cells to secrete water and bicarbonate.

c. A hepatocyte is a cell of the main parenchymal tissue of the liver. Hepatocytes make up 55-65% of the liver's mass.Secretin regulated VEGF and NGF expression that negatively correlated with microRNA 125b and let7a levels in liver tissue.
