The tail in the body get developed in the embryo at the 5th or 6th week of the gestation and it later disappears or absorbed in the body during the fetal development. The tail get disappeared in the 8th week of gestation.

Most of the organs in the body provided various purpose in the body. But in other hand the some of the other organs such as appendix, does not interfere with the body function. tail in the is like that if it is disappear it does not interfere with the body function. It is occurs due to human evolution the tail get disappear and form as coccyx ( tail bone).
