Micronutrients are nutrients that are required by body in very minute amount ,mainly function as co-factor for enzymes and help in maintaining the normal functioning and preventing the diseases. It does not provide any energy.

Micronutrients play very crucial role in maintaining the health and performance. it includes vitamins and minerals

Such as Boron help in assimilation of calcium ,Copper promotes Vitamin A formation,Mangenese and zinc help in growth, Iron help in haemoglobin formation.

In atheletes observed that commonly deficency of Iron, mangenese,Zinc ,Vitamin D due to higher requirement of there physical activity.
