As you can see in the above picture, normally our feet have an arch but this arch is not present, it is called flat feet.

CAUSE:

1)Feet arch is made by the bones, muscle tendons and ligaments by its toughness. So if there are flat feet means there can be structural problem in the bone or has any injury in the muscle or ligament.

2) Arthritis, inflammation in the joints of feet bones.

3)The genetic problem can be also a cause. From parents, it can come into the baby. For genetic problem arch of feet can collapse maybe for lack of toughness in the ligaments. So in this case baby born with flat feet. So flat feet can be congenital.
