Answer #1

A. Amino acids absorption is affected.

B. Many nutrients are absorbed in gradient manner . So if there is an defect in the Na+/K+ ATPase, we can observe less absorption of nutrients.

C .hephaestin It is mainly for copper and iron.. so not all nutrients are effected . So, defeciency of iron and copper.

D.any defect in sucrase-isomaltase leads to Malabsorption of nutrients.

E. Colipase is a protein co factor for pancreatic lipase enzyme. If there is defect in this then the undigested nutrient go unabsorbed in intestine.

Cholera and other diarrheal diseases cause nearly 2 billion cases of diarrhea annually. Cholera toxin and other bacterial toxins cause the intestine to secrete fluid into the lumen of the gut, depleting the extracellular fluid (ECF) volume. If fluid loss is not matched with fluid intake (law of mass balance), the result is severe dehydration, circulatory collapse, and even death. Drinking a rehydration solution is the most rapid and effective way to replace the large volumes of water lost by...
