Answer #1

ESTROGEN- it is highest in the mid follicular phase and then drops precipitously after ovulation.

estrogen also raises again (secondary rise) in mid luteal phase, and decreases at the end of the menstrual cycle. but this rise is not as much as the first rise.

estrogen is at its peak on day 12 of the regular 28 day cycle.

PROGESTERONE- it raises in the second half of menstrual cycle and following the release of the egg or ovulation.

usually in a normal 28 day cycle, day 22 to 23  has the highest peak of progesterone.

LH- it is highest on the day 13 to 14 day of the regular 28 day cycle, right before the ovulation.

LH is at its highest when the developing egg follicle reaches a certain size that is when LH secretions surges, it usually happens in the middle of the cycle.

This hormone surge triggers the ovulation.
