The energy in each, the cheeseburger, the cup of sugar, and the gasoline are not all that far apart. Yet there is a huge difference between tossing a match in a cup of gasoline (DO NOT DO THIS), giving a cup of sugar (make it cotton candy) to a 6 year old, or eating a cheeseburger. Answer #1

Answer. In the given statement, different products & their benefits(energy capabilities) are being talked about.

Gasoline is a fuel that gives power to a machinery such as a car, generator, etc.. It's not a human consumption thing. It gives energy to Machines.

On the other hand, a Cup of sugar like in a candy has a lot of fat. It gives less energy to body but does greater harm to health & teeth.

While a cheese burger is full of carbohydrates & fat, it too gives energy to a human body along with extra calories of fat.
