Question

Consider the statement: "Statistics are for the birds. I have no interest in detailed math calculations and will never use them in my carreer as a __________. It is a waste of time even talking about them." What do you think?

Answer #1

The statistic is the study of altering your perspective under uncertainty.

Statistics is used in the field of marketing, financial matters, science, general wellbeing, sports, drugs, and numerous others. Statistics can be used in scientific research fields such as psychology, advertising, economics, medicine, etc.

Even at this time of Pandemic people are using the statistical tools and study to find the potential hotspots, projection of death cases and positive of the virus of the country after a month. Hospitals have to mark the point when there beds will be full seeing the graph of covid.

All these projections, hypothesis and forecasts are part of statistics & it find its roots deep in our world.

Consider the following (true) statement:
“All birds have wings but some birds cannot fly.”
Part 1
Write this statement symbolically as a conjunction of two
sub-statements, one of which is a conditional and the other is the
negation of a conditional.
Use three components (p, q, and r)
and explicitly state what these components correspond to in the
original statement.
Hint: Any statement in the form "some X cannot Y"
can be rewritten equivalently as “not all X can Y,”...

There is a student in the data set who scored 86 on both the
math contest and the project. Based on the descriptive statistics
and other additional statistics or comparisons you want to make,
would you say they did better relative to the other students on the
math contest or the project or was it about the same? For full
credit be sure to not only look at the statistics and/or graphs you
did in part 5. Go beyond that...

1. What would my nursing practice look like if I didn’t consider
the social determinants of health? Do I believe developing an
understanding of the social determinants of health is integral to
my daily practice?
2. If I consider my nursing practice over time, have I changed
how I think about the social determinants of health or how being
more aware of them may enhance my practice? What effect might my
view of the social determinants of health have on...

In
Adjusted present value approach, i know the calculations for any
question but i have doubt in one thing
Dismiss the NPv calculations
If we have initial outlay for a project 100,000
And this is depreciated using 25% reducing balance.
You know that we have to construct a table, and find the
depreciation for each year suppose for 4 years
Then we multiply depreciation * Tax. To get TS
Suppose we got. 40. 48. 49. 50. As a dep tS....

Since we are talking about bond yields, I think this would be a
wonderful opportunity to look at current events. Take some time and
look at bond yields in the news. Since bonds are considered to be a
security, there is plenty of information out there. I would like
you to choose a bond, it can be one of the US Treasury Bonds or it
can even be a Bill or a Note issued by the US Treasury. You can...

Consider the following Thomson's statement on abortion, which
sounds ambivalent and
even contradictory against her own overall pro-choice argument:
"...while I do argue that abortion is not impermissible,
I do not argue that it is always permissible. I am inclined
to think it a merit of my account precisely that it does not
give a general yes or a general no."
On
behalf of Thomson, explain why she qualifies her own...

There are several brands I am loyal to, especially when it comes
to my skincare routine. However, one brand that I cannot live
without is Ocean Potion sunscreen. I am a freak about putting
sunscreen on everyday and I have used this brand for years. Not
only does it smell amazing, but I never burn with it. I will do
everything I can to find it in stores or get my hands on...

Consider the statement "U.S. government bonds have been
downgraded by the rating agencies in recent years due to an
increased level of risk brought on by our growing federal debt
burden. Therefore, there is no such thing as a "risk-free" rate of
interest." What do you think?

I am using forecast package for time series analysis. I have
a dataset with hourly data from oct 3 2016 to oct 23 2016. I used
the following code to convert my data into a time series
object.
Dataset is about citibike stations I’m only using 6
stations
I’m not sure if Im supposed to use my time column or include
my time column.
This is what i have so far.
data.ts <- ts(CitiBike[,2:7], freq = 504, start = 2016)...
