Gives five (5) examples of several discrete random variable and explain why they have to be whole numbers.
The five examples of a discrete random variable are
1) Number of students in a class
2) The number of tails flipped in 4 trials
3) Number of customers who visit a showroom in a day
4) Number of House in a certain block
5) Number of fishes caught on a fishing trip
6) Counting the number of petals of flower
They have to be in whole number as from all the examples we can conclude that they are all in whole numbers as number of students can't be in fraction similarly holds for all. As discrete variable is counting the number of events which can only be whole numbers.
