Scenario 1: You want to assess how the type of student employment (part-time and full time) influences students’ GPA.

Scenario 1: Here, we have to generate two random samples, one from the part time students and another from the full time students. Now for the generated samples we need to gather information of the student's GPA. Then we can compare the difference between mean GPA of students for part time and full time students. Hence, we have to perform independent two-sample t-test.
Secnario 2: In this case, we have to generate 3 random samples from psychology, engineering and biology students. After that we need to collect the amount of time the students spent studying in each of those samples. Post that we can compare the average amount of time spent on studying for three different majors. Therefore, we have to conduct one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for three means in this case.
