Paired research designs, also sometimes referred to as repeated measures designs, are associated with some common problems. What are some potential problems or alternative explanations with paired designs?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The potential problems with paired designs are:

1. It is not easy to collect the data second and further time if the difference between the first and further data collection times is big.

2. There is a possibility that sampled units if they are humans might understand the research process and behave in a particular way which will result in biasedness.

3. The sampled units might expose some other things that correlate with the response or affect the response in any way.

Good luck with your studies!!!

Executives can be difficult because they may believe that the organization should accommodate them (and not the other way around) and that security should not get in the way of business. IT people can be difficult because they may believe they know what they are doing and...
