Answer #1

There are three main types of research design namely data collection, measurement and analysis. Data collection can be considered as very important part of research and it is also justifiable type of research design in the field of nursing.

Data collection should always includes name, age, gender of the patient or cases. It also includes the parameters that are important for a particular type of study and if it is a hospital based study, then nurses can do very great job in the field of data collection .Always patients are either in the ward or in the intensive care unit, both are places for a nurse to play an important role. Any information regarding that patient that is related to the study can be collected by the nurse during the period in which the patient is being admitted in the hospital. Nurse can continuously monitor and record the wanted data from the patient and the care givers. So in all these aspects, data collection can be considered as a justifiable method of research design in the field of nursing.
