  1. Does a student perform more poorly on a test with too much sleep? Volunteers were put in a controlled environment, and allowed to sleep 7 hours one night, then were given an IQ test. Two weeks later, they called back into the lab, and in the same environment, were allowed to sleep for 10 hours, then given a similar IQ test (a test you cannot prepare for, as opposed to a math test, where learning may affect the later test). A list of 5 subjects follows, along with their scores
