Set in ascending order

-10, -7, -6, -6, -2, -1, 4, 10

n = 8 (even )

Median = average of (n/2) and (n/2)+1 observations

Median = average of (8/2) and (8/2)+1 observations

Median = average of 4th and 5th observations

Median = (-6-2)/2 = -8/2

Median = -4
