How can one determine the best way to strike the most appropriate balance between documentation and visuals within a presentation?
We had lot of projects in our MBAs and similarly lot of power point presentation were also submitted by our team when I was working with Accenture India. Visuals are presented for the quick view, for eg: graphs, pie charts. People can view the information quickly as to know is which is better. Visuals can also be the mode of presenting something intesting as it catches people's attention over to data. But too much of visuals may lead to complex presentation as one requires data to understand the basics. Hence I believe 60% of data and 40% of visuals should be included. One can also minimize by changing the language structure and adding it is as the bullet points.
Starting of any presentation can be with data and between visuals should be presented to maintain the attention span of the viewers which can be conluded with data again.
