Diffusion of innovations theory was first developed by E.M. Rogers in 1962. It was developed by Roger to explain how a product gains momentum and got diffussed . This theory was very much implemented by the business world to measure the life cycle of a product and its stages in which the product is existed at present. Change agent is necessary to measure the momentum.

In my project communication is the good change agent to develop an intervention to address it.

2) This theory is important for health promotions efforts because it helps in understanding the stages of the products or ideas . gaining momentums and diffusing it over time is a natural process .
