Answer #1

Sleep deprivation is the root cause of decreased productivity, accidents incidents and may cause the company huge losses.

There are many problems which are associated with sleep deprivation such as when a person is tired they may get irritated easily because of poor communication. It also decreases the performance of workers and it is observed that their response time also decreases.

People with sleep deprivation are often distracted or spaced out which is definitely not a good sign. One such example of sleep deprivation can be seen in truck drivers. Partial loss of sleep constantly can sum up to a full night's lack of sleep which is dangerous. In fact, 22 hours of sleep deprivation can cause 0.08 % blood alcohol level which is considered legally drunk in United States.

Decision making is also affected by sleep deprivation which increases the number of errors. Memory of a person becomes poor. They become moody. It is seen in research that risk taking behaviour increases due to sleep deprivation which can sometimes result in losses.

People with sleep deprivation have difficulty in adjusting to a new work environment or place. 7 hours of sleep is necessary for every individual so that they can remain healthy and their body functions properly.

Texting while driving is dangerous as it can cause some mishap or accidents. While driving the driver's focus must be solely on driving. Texting distracts the driver and reduces his/her response time. So safey always comes first. Follow all the rules because they are there to keep us safe.
