The Holy Spirit has one very important role, and that is to
give believers wisdom by which we can understand God.The Spirit
helps us understand. This is wisdom from God, rather than wisdom
from man. No amount of human knowledge can ever replace the Holy
Spirit’s teaching.
The Holy Spirit is the conduit of life from God into your
heart. He is the one who controls your thoughts, attitudes, words,
and actions as you follow His leading. He will direct your steps
through all the complicated paths of life and keep you from
sin.
The Holy Spirit is also important because He is the guarantee
of your inheritance in heaven. It provides us with hope of heaven
and that God will direct us to heaven through his teachings.
The Holy Spirit is also a gift-giver.The spiritual gifts of
knowledge and wisdom that believers possess are given by the Holy
Spirit.
