You are a production line leader in your automotive company in Toronto. You were sent to the world headquarters of Toyota Motor Corporation to study their systems of world-class quality and safety at work. You have just returned this morning. Due to top priority at work, you have reported to your manager right away. He wants you to participate in a strategic meeting and asks you, “Are you okay for work, or facing any possible hazard?” How will you respond?

I would say yes and attend the meeting because I’m also in a responsible position thus I can either contribute or gain some insight from the meeting. Because it’s strategic meeting, only people who are important would be taking part in it. This would also give me an opportunity to present my findings to the team. I understand that I’m tired after a long journey and exhaustive study but it’s very important that I utilize this opportunity to gain a stand as senior managers would be present in the meeting too.
