For conducting research on grandparent's mental health there are certain rules that have to be followed: 1. they must be informed about the research and for what purpose the research is being conducted. 2. Their consent has to be obtained. 3. It is to be taken care that no harm is done to them.

It will be qualitative research in the form of a questionnaire, observation, or open-ended sessions.

The mental health of grandparents is associated with the wellbeing of their grandchildren. They are attached to them emotionally and psychologically. If the grandchildren are away then also grandparents would interested in knowing their education or other activities. Grandchildren from a three-generation birth cohort study and how these generations are attached.

The mental health of grandparents also depends upon what type of care he is getting.

The simple procedure that can be adopted would be a questionnaire. Where many questions related to three-generation could be obtained as data and after analyzing one can draw a conclusion how does the association affect mental health.

It is observed in various studies that the grandparents who get support and care from their children and grandchildren have healthy late adulthood and they are more social and mentally healthy.

The grandparent's mental health is associated with the grandchildren’s behavior and how they associate themselves with their grandparents emotionally and psychologically.

On the international level, the trend is increasing where the parents prefer to keep their children under the care of their grandparents. It serves two purposes, the children get good care, and grandparents are mentally associated with the grandchildren and remain active. It has a positive impact on their physical and emotional well being.

A young child is innocent and is a good company for the grandparents; they are like positive energy in grandparent's life because their love is unselfish.
