What is the status of the traditional American Family? How is it being redefined?
Here are a few supporting claims: Adopted children, Family values (religion, faith, traditional/cultural), same sex marriage, divorce, remarriage
A traditional American family is one which goes to church every Sunday for mass, ones who are religious, they believe in the traditional way of marriage, they also believe that a couple of opposite sex can only consummate. The concept of divorce is unknown, it is about staying married until death does them apart. When one can have biological children, why adopt is a question often asked. If divorce is a no, no then remarriage is out of the question.
However, with the changing times and a 'modern' society, American families are not-so-traditional any longer. Couples adopt children. The younger generation seldom goes to church. LGBTQ rights have been granted by the government. Young couples have become impatient and intolerant leading to increase in number of divorces.
The traditional American family is fading away. The society is being redefined.
