Why and HOW does the Cogito argument pass the ultimate test for Cartesian Certainty?
The Cogito argument of Descartes says one should doubt each everything that is percieved by the senses to ensure its truth. Our senses are not reliable as in the first place psometimes they give us illusion and secondly they exaggerate things more than that they are. Hence, nothing should be accepted as truth unless it is clearly and doubtlessly is proved so.
This could be done by breaking the problem into as many simple part as possible and then ensuring truth moving from the simpler step to complex ones. If truth is proven in each and every step of doubt or skepticism then Cartesian Certainty has been established.
