Hey random question here. So if a book has a few authors overall out of the whole book but includes entries written by other authors. So my question is how exactly would I cite this work? Would I add the author of the entry to the rest of the author of the book or would I create an indiviudal citation? Maybe I am over thinking this but I couldn't find anything about it on the internet please help.
if you have to cite a book with multiple authors, the citation would differ depending upon the MLA style or the APA style. If you’re citing the book, where the main author is different and the author in the individual chapters is different, then you have to cite the individual author who has written the chapter. For every chapter that has been written by a separate author, reference has to be made. The chapter would be compiled by another author. Hence, the template could be of the format
Author, name (year). chapter name. in editor name , title of the book (pp. xxx). location: publisher.
