In 2014 a wooden cutting board was produced called "the OCD Chef," which was met with mixed reactions by the public. What do you think about marketing the cutting board this way? What are the major concerns to consider? Could the manufacturers have marketed it a different way? Should they have?

As the manufactureres of the product had mixed reviews from the customer , They had a successful product launch into the market .
The marketing was done using "OCD " which means obssessive compulsive disorder which is a mental illness related to anxiety and repitive behaviour . They was a petition filed as well in order to remove the product from the market because the name of the product was related to a mental disorder and they also advertised that people will be obssessed with the product after using it which was considered very offensive .
the OCD Chef , the cutting board is seen to appeal to the "OCD Chef". according to me this can surely be perceived as influencing unhealthy thought behaviours that allow mental illness to define and influence a person's thoughts, feeling behaviour and character.
