Hunter-Gatherer or Foragers

These groups are nomadic or semi-nomadic and move when a food supply of an area goes out. They use scavenging and hunting to obtain food. Elderly people in such groups usually live near the camp site areas and help around by passing on knowledge and giving advice to those needed. Young mothers can get help from their own mothers who usually live near them. Men mostly band into groups and hierarchies, with an alpha-male leading them in for hunts and for food gathering. Most of the hunter-gatherer groups have now become extinct as they have mostly settled own to become pastoral groups with successful adaptation of farming and domestication of animals.
