what is the difference between Gendered Toys and Masculinity of Young Children in olden days and Present Days?

Answer #1

Gendered toys were a common phenomenon throughout history. Boys were always given horses, soldiers and swords in order to make them more masculine. But girls were always given soft toys like angels and God's. Boys were expected to grow as brave and aggressive men while girls were expected to be gracious and soft.
Today, the scenario hasn't changed much. The war between blue and pink still continues with one exception that girls have started using the boys' toys but they do it on order to prove that they are equal with boys whereas, boys feel shy to use girls' toys because they will be mocked at. One more important thing about using different gender toys is the awareness in the society about the third gender, there is a tolerance about using different gender toys.
