identify potential obstacles to ally-ship and explain how to address them.

Answer #1

Since allyship is itself a learning process it is difficult. The goals are not concrete, and allies do not clearly understand what they are supporting an ally. However; without allies, it would be impossible to create widespread awareness. For example, it will be; difficult for trans individuals to interact within a societal framework revolving; the cisgender.
Allies when they make incorrect word choices should realize their mistakes, apologize. They should allow the trans counterpart to direct the conversation. Listening and effectively communicating is the only way to create societal change
