NaCN is a salt of weak acid (HCN) and strong base (NaOH). therefore when NaCN dissolved in water it will give a weak acid i.e. HCN and strong base i.e. NaOH as :

NaCN (aq)........ +............ H2O (l) <----> NaOH (aq).......... +.................. HCN (aq)

salt..........................................................strong base.............................weak acid

Ionic equation for this reaction is :

Na+(aq) + CN- (aq) + H2O (l) <----> Na+(aq) + OH- (aq) + HCN (aq)

Net ionic equation after the cancellation of spectator ion i.e. Na+ on both side is:

CN- (aq) + H2O (l) <----> OH-(aq) + HCN (aq)

Hence these are the major species presents when NaCN dissolved in water.
