There are number of legislations and laws which protect the employees from discrimination at work place .They are mentioned below

  • Minimum wage- Fair Labor standard act ensure that the employees get minimum wages
  • Employee based discriination - The civils right act 1964 prhibhits discriinaiton on the basis race, relgion, sex or naitonal origin .
  • Workplace safety - The Occupational safety and health act of 1970 protect the employees from workplace environment risks.
