Bandura found out that there was no significant difference in aggression displayed by children when they watched cartoon films.He assumed it would be cathartic but it rather showed children broke away from their social inhibitions in this case and displayed aggression.The imitative aggression was less however non imitative aggression was more after watching cartoons.
