What is the difference between a republic and a direct democracy? Do you agree with the founding fathers that it is better for us to be an indirect democracy because most Americans are incapable of governing themselves?

Answer- Democracy is the one which forms by people to people and for people in which all supreme power is in hands of common people.

A democracy in which people choose their representatives on every stage as municiple, city, state, and country. People help to take decisions in law makings with help of these representatives. This type of democracy is called republic. But the direct democracy is totally converse of the above. In this, people do not choose any representative they directly take part in law making.
